Industrial Land Sales

Industrial Land Sales
August 2015
Category: Land

There were 32 parcels of industrial land sold between 2008 and 2014 in York and Adams Counties. The parcels of land represented just under 920 acres. The total dollar volume of these sales was $54.2 million, an overall average sale price of $68,423 per acre. While the average price per acre increase significantly in 2014, it is important to note that there were less sales that occurred in the market that year and they were more optimally positioned for industrial development. In fact, one of the parcels that sold in 2014 was purchased with the intent of constructing a brand new 1.2 million square foot warehouse/distribution center in a well-established business park.
