Nearest Location Study

Nearest Location Study
Category: Customer Location Analysis

A nearest location study can be used for several different purposes. The general concept is to map out the nearest location by drive time from one set of points to another. For instance, as a business looking to open additional locations, one factor that is helpful to look at is whether or not a new location may cannibalize an already existing facility. By plotting customers, current facilities, and potential locations, the nearest location study will begin to give a general idea if cannibalization will occur and by how much.
