Community Service

ROCK Commercial Real Estate is a true community partner in promoting the health and revitalization of our region.

Our Vision

We envision thriving communities with a balance of successful small businesses, affordable housing, education, support for local children and their families, and opportunities for young people entering the workforce. To realize this vision, we dedicate our time to a variety of local, civic, and social community organizations. ROCK is committed to our communities, and we will continue to take the “long-view” approach.

In 2021, ROCK celebrated its 20th anniversary. In honor of this important milestone, ROCK contributed to four central Pennsylvania organizations including $10,000 to Give Local York, $10,000 to The Extraordinary Give, $5,000 to UPMC Pinnacle Foundation’s Path of Hope, and $5,000 to Hospice & Community Care.

ROCK renews its support of the communities we serve by contributing to many nonprofits each year including $10,000 to Give Local York and $10,000 to The Extraordinary Give in support of their annual giving events.

We are thrilled to have ROCK as our Give Local York Big Give Party sponsor. After two years of socially distanced giving, we’re excited to bring the party back to York on Give Day. ROCK has been a supporter of Give Local York since year one and we’re happy to celebrate our shared ‘birthdays’ (our fifth; their 20th!) on May 6, 2022.

Meagan Given
Director, Give Local York

I want to congratulate Dave and the entire ROCK Commercial Real Estate team for 20 years of service to York and Lancaster. Your commitment to building your business in our community, and simultaneously using your business to build our community is an extraordinary gift to south central Pennsylvania. We’re really excited to celebrate with you and to have ROCK as our newest sponsor of The Extraordinary Give!

The UPMC Pinnacle Foundation is grateful for ROCK’s generous support of the Transform the Trail campaign at UPMC Memorial. The contribution from ROCK has allowed UPMC to create a Path of Hope to provide a place of peace and reflection for all trail-goers. Located just off the Memorial Health Fund Wellness Trail’s head, the Path of Hope is marked by inspirational signage and showcases memorial benches and trees.

Chad Myers
Director of Development, UPMC Pinnacle Foundation

We are so grateful for ROCK Commercial Real Estate’s generous support of our Wine, Dine & Unwind event. Proceeds from this event ensure that Hospice & Community Care can provide both personalized hospice care and compassionate bereavement support to anyone in York County in need of these services.

I had a positive experience. Dave Bode was easy to work with and was able to get back to me in a timely manner with any questions I had with the process.

I have had very little experience with commercial real estate and ROCK was very helpful in helping me understand the process. My advisor, Kevin Hodge, was very accessible when I needed information.

Matt Czaus was great to work with – quite knowledgeable and always reachable. He understood our needs and viewpoints. He deftly facilitated negotiations that led to a signed lease.
